Religious Theories and Philosophies for Life after Death

You must have seen hundreds of movies where they have showed about life after death where a restless soul wanders throughout the eternity in order to complete the tasks that the soul was unable to complete during life on earth. Similarly, if you look into the history you will find millions of theories and philosophies that are related to life after death and that either support or deny the fact that afterlife actually exist in reality. Apart from such ancient theories and philosophies there are many other recent event recordings that clearly talk of supernatural and where people have experienced life after death and are still alive to tell us the story of what they had experienced when they were on their journey to death.

Since the question of life after death is really interesting and make us more curious to know about what will happen after we die many scholars and religious thinkers have written their thesis and books where they have provide some hard evidence about the existence of life after death. People who have undergone near death experiences have also written about their experiences. The Holy Bible clearly tells us that there is life after death and that every human must work for a better life after death while he or she is on earth. The holy book commands mankind to perform his duties honestly and to understand the responsibilities to help other fellows around him while will earn him good rewards when his soul will return back to the God. Many religions like Christianity and Islam also believe that after death the souls reaches a bridge where his actions on earth are being checked and it is the actions of that soul that decides if the soul should go to Heaven or receive a punishment in Hell.

In India where majority of the population follows Hinduism believe that there is life after death and a soul is reborn over and over until it performs good deeds on earth and reach salvation. The Hindus believe that every soul has to reach for salvation but it is the evil (known as Maya) that tempts the soul from performing good deeds on earth. The soul has to work its way out and save itself from falling into this eternal cycle of life and death and reach salvation which is where the soul will find its Heaven and be in peace forever.
