Does Afterlife Really Exist?

Sometimes I really wonder what goes on inside our minds because we often take up this issue about life after death and keep debating about it until one is frustrated and silent and the other one is happy that he has dominated the debate. We as humans are always curious to know things that we don’t know or something that is really out of our reach. Of course, science and religion both have different views about life after death where science clearly does not believe in life after death wherelse religion and holy books have often commented about the afterlife for which every man should be prepared. 

Of course, the question that does afterlife really exists is really intriguing but how do we find the answers for such a question. Religious people would clearly argue that since holy books are God’s word and therefore there is no reason to doubt but science on the other hand is based on logic and substantial proof and so far there is no evidence that can support the theories provided by the church and other religious institutions that believe that afterlife really exists. 

Many of the religious people often claim that we should do good deeds and think good and help fellow human beings as that is the only way towards Heaven but many modern thinkers and rational believers clearly refuse to accept this statement. Major religions like Hinduism, Islam and Christianity believe in life after death and they believe that the actions that we do on earth will decide our fate after we are dead and it is those actions that will secure our place in Heaven and Hell accordingly. Religious leaders often make a statement in their speeches that Heaven and Hell are options given to the mankind and it is up to us to decide what we want in our life after death. 

They deny the statements given by the scientific world saying that afterlife does exists but there are things beyond the reach of science’s knowledge and this is just one of them. However, paranormal activities and events that remained unexplained are something that really make us think hard about the afterlife. People who have witnessed such paranormal activities and events where they have come in close contacts with the supernatural still exists and they strongly believe that there are things beyond the realm of science and that remains one of the most debated topics on earth.
