The concept of trinity is only talked about in Christianity and is mentioned in the bible. Trinity is a Latin word ‘trinitas’ and means ‘Three are one’. It is expressed in the bible as God being one and is made up of three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Many people experience difficulty in understanding Trinity. Well trinity can be understood with one simple example. Let’s take a person David. Now David has different relationships with different people during his life on earth. David is a father to someone, a son to another and a grandfather to someone else.

Therefore, God is our eternal Father, maker of all things that are seen and unseen meaning the creator. God then was made flesh, was made man (Jesus Christ who is the son of God), suffered, and rose again the third day, ascended into heaven and will come again to judge the living and the dead. The Holy Spirit is an invisible entity and is a constant guide to people for maintaining and strengthening their faith on God.

Therefore, the trinity has three purposes:

The father who creates and sustains the world and all powers lie only with Him. He is the lord our God and creator of heaven and earth.
The Son (Jesus Christ) who ensures salvation and atones for the sins of man. Judgment and repent both are only in His powers and only He will decide the fate of a Mortal Human Being.
The Holy Ghost who prepares the human mind for faith and maintains the believer in the state of faith.

Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, God having become mortal man and there hence, the savior of humanity. Christians, therefore, on a common basis refer to Jesus as "Christ" or A Messiah. Christians call the messages that were received from Jesus Christ "a Gospel" which when translated means good news. In addition, there fore Christians refer to the earliest written logs of ministry as gospels. Christians believe that the moment we are born, God has a purpose for us. If a person has found out the purpose of his life and led his life according to it, he then receives eternal life. If that human being has spent a good and God Fearing life in this world, God accepts his soul and sends him to Paradise, while a person who has spent a life full of wrong doings and has rejected God’s purpose for him, his soul is rejected by God and is thrown into Hell.
