Over a million years we have evolved from monkey to human, if you believe Darwin’s theory. But of course that is still open to debate. As we evolved we built a society around us, helping each other, warring with those that have different perspectives or look different then ourselves and basically pulling our way to the top, the “top” being a better and peaceful life.
Obviously every one of us should abide by the common rules, like do not murder or steal or do anything that harms another being. Nowadays it seems we are built around society. Don’t do this, say it this way and think like this. Visual technology such as TV and other things are helping sway your thoughts so that you are on the same page as your neighbor. But is this page a clean or a dirty one? People who stray away from the generic train of thought are labeled and are looked down upon.
We as a race have changed in our views; once we worshiped men or women we thought were gods or demi gods, kings, queens and people who gave leadership towards a better world. Now it is a completely different story as most of us worship actors, song artists and anyone who is rich. Why? Because you want what they have? They are just people who have used there god given talent to get our money and you look up to them as role models. They don’t do anything for you but you still treat them like they would give you water in your hour of need. Some people even model their personality on there favorite “role model”.
Our society has changed so much that some females don’t leave the house without painting their face in concealer. Are they that ashamed of their looks? I hope not, our society has programmed them to think like that, to wear the skimpiest dress and high heels, just because there favorite “role model” was wearing it, to go out for a one night stand because that’s what there favorite TV pro-gramme teaches them to do. There once was a time when sex was a spiritual ritual where two lovers came together to express there love, but know it has no meaning, its just sex to many people.
We are all beautiful individuals and don’t need fashion to make us realize that but we seriously need to stop following the crowd. You need to find who you are and not be manipulated onto the generic crap path. Find yourself as many of our ancestors have done in the past and work together for a better and peaceful tomorrow. We have the perfect world right here but we need to change our leaders and role models, to make it work for the better.
So where are we now in our evolution? Have we reached the “top” or has the “top” come and gone and are we tumbling to the bottom again? The picture below represents a portion of our society and it’s thinking.
