Outer Body Experiences - Life After Death

A young child who was on his deathbed after falling into a pond was brought back to life after doctors fought for three hours to save the life of Paula Eicke. After regaining consciousness the young child described how he met his dead granny and how she told him to return to the land of living, for his parents sake.

“There was allot of light and I was floating. I came to a gate and I saw grandma Emmi on the other side. She said to me ‘what are you doing here Paul? You must go back to mummy and daddy. I will wait for you here’. I knew I was in heaven. But grandma said I had to come home. She said that I should go back very quickly. Heaven looked nice. But I am glad I am back with Mummy and Daddy now.”

Allot of people claim to have experienced a life after death scenario where they see bright lights or tunnels that lead to limbo or heaven depending on there deeds. Although Scientists remain sceptical about the afterlife claiming it is all just a dream or the last bit of existence of a dying brain. A study by Dr Kevin Nelson, a neurologist at the Kentucky University examined fifty five people who had a near death experience and fifty five who had not. He found that the people who had the experience could not distinguish if they were in a dream state or in reality.

“I see it as an activation of certain brain regions that are also active during the dream state. However, I hesitate to call it dreaming, or dreaming while awake.”

Christine Barrett briefly died in a cycling accident, she describes feeling a euphoria type feeling and she claims her life flashed before her. A voice gave her a choice to go back to the living or to stay. By choosing to go back the voice said she would be stronger than before. Christine choose to go back and although she could not walk she remembered the voice and found her step, even becoming a world class runner.

In another case, an asthma attack nearly claimed the life of Lillian Oaktree. While in hospital a sudden pain washed over her and then it became clam. She claims she floated above her body and all of a sudden she was transported to a dark tunnel. The tunnel lead to a green countryside and while there she was reunited with her dead relatives. Lillian claims that two beings in white cloaks spoke to her and then she was transported back to her body. Once back in the living she noticed her asthma had improved.

After a suicide attempt, Samantha Swinglehurst woke up on a black plain. She could hear voices telling her that she was at a place called the clearing house. Samantha claims that her life was played back to her and upon waking up in the living, she knew she would never make the same mistake again.
